CATARACT SURGERY
A cataract is a clouding of the lens inside the eye, causing vision loss that cannot be corrected with glasses, contact lenses or corneal refractive surgery. Cataract surgery is a procedure to remove the affected lens of the eye and, replace it with an artificial lens. In cataract surgery, our specialists use the method called “phacoemulsification (FAO)”. In this method, lens is falling apart by the ultrasound energy.
