VENEERS
With increasing expectations of having aesthetical teeth similar to look natural, the use of aesthetical materials in the mouth, especially in front parts, has gained more importance over the years. Since metal supported porcelain that have used for many years has failed to achieve a natural appearance, new alternatives have been searched and are in use today.
VENEER TYPES:
Zirconium Porcelain Veneers:
Zirconia is porcelain that contains around 90% zirconium oxide forming the strongest and most durable veneer on the market. Zirconia Veneers are semi-translucent which means that they are virtually indistinguishable from your own natural teeth. Zirconia is stronger than Emax veneers and is a better option for restoring a darker tooth located underneath because it does not allow a lot of light to enter.
Laminated Porcelain Veneers:
Laminated veneers are very thin porcelains that can be applied on the front teeth. A fast and safe way to fix aesthetic problems affecting the front teeth, including permanent staining, crooked teeth, badly spaced teeth, and small deformed teeth.
